Good afternoon, CodeRVA Families-
I think you’ve heard quite enough from me this week with all those inclement weather messages. We have just two short items for you before we head into our last school week of 2025. When we come back in January, there will only be 20 weeks left in the school year, assuming we have no more snow. Wow!
First up this week, a belated Thank You for all your support of our pre-Thanksgiving Raptor Roast fundraiser! Our SCA (Student Council Association), NHS (National Honor Society), and CSHS (Computer Science Honor Society) students came together under the direction of Ms. Boor and our other faithful sponsors to lead one of our most successful fundraisers ever. Our little school raised $746.50 for our neighbors at the Richmond SPCA. Thank you so much to all our Raptors for their generosity!
Looking ahead to 2026, we are required to send home this 2025-26 Climate Survey Letter to Parents_Guardians.pdf so that if you do not want your student to participate in this statewide survey in January you can opt them out.
That is it for this week! Don’t get your hopes up about that Sunday snow either. As of Thursday, it does not look like it will be a repeat event of last weekend. Either way, stay safe and warm this weekend, Raptors!

Attention all families of 11th grade Dual Enrollment (DE) students. The drop/withdraw deadlines for J. Sargeant Reynolds J-Term (Winter) courses are listed below:

To drop a DE course with a “W” (withdrawal) on your transcript: Friday, December 19, 2025

Parents/guardians must contact the School Counselor by 3:00 PM on the dates listed, giving permission to withdraw from the course.
