Good afternoon, CodeRVA Families-
I think you have heard from me plenty over the past two weeks, so this week’s edition will be short and sweet.
First, please note there will not be a Raptor Rundown on February 13 since someone will be out of town at a conference. Don’t worry though, I’ll be back at it the following week!
Next, for all students taking courses through Virtual Virginia, please see the important note below:
-
Virtual Virginia is conducting a review of all students in a spring block or full-year course with a course average of less than 20%. All enrollments with a course average of less than 20% are considered largely inactive and will be academically withdrawn from VVA courses on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
Here is another reminder about the community event Techstars Weekend we have mentioned before. Here is the link to register, and you can learn more about the event here: Techstars’ Startup Weekend Richmond or by checking out the event highlights below. Registration closes on February 12, so don’t delay if you’d like to attend. Questions? Contact Erica Long at elong@richmond.edu or (804) 287-1267.

The University of Virginia’s Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service in collaboration with the VDOE has researched and compiled this data for the 2025-2026 school year. The information is based on occupational employment statistics and educational attainment data produced by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics as well as longitudinal wage data produced by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia.

That is it for this week, Raptors! Have a great next week thawing out, and look for the Raptor Rundown on February 20!

Attention all 10th and 11th grade families! Check out this message about PSAT scores!
-
If your student took the PSAT in October, their scores are available on College Board. They can view their scores by logging into their account. Please note that CodeRVA does not have access to College Board passwords. Students will need to reset their password if they do not know it.
-
Your school counseling team invites you to access your PSAT scores and watch the College Board’s PSAT Overview to get a better idea of what those scores mean.
